Trincomalee and Jaffna Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome onboard to the world class cruise. Embark the cruise between 10:00 to 13:00 hrs sailing start at 18:00 hrs ramayana katha from 18:30 to 19:30 hrs in the evening enjoy the entertainment shows.
Day 2
Enjoy the sailing after breakfast explore the cruise after lunch ramayana katha from 14:00 to 16:00 hrs in the evening enjoy the entertainment shows.
Day 3
After breakfast pickup from hambantota port at 09:00 hrs proceed to ruhunu maha katargama dewalaya by 10:00 (leave from there at 12:00 hrs) proceed to ussangoda temple (leave from there at 15:00 hrs) back to cruise at 16:00 hrs ramayana katha at 17:00 to 18:00 hrs in the evening enjoy the entertainment shows.

Kataragama deiyo is linked to ramayan trail legend. Lord indra is said to have given him order to join the battle at the last day of war to protect lord rama from the powerful warth of lanka’s demon king ravana.
Ussangoda temple
According to ramayana, after meeting seetha devi lord hanuman decided to test the strength of the mighty king ravana and his army of rakshasas. In the event that unfolded lord hanuman’s tail was set on fire by the rakshasas, who in turn went on to torch some parts of king ravana’s empire. Ussangoda is one of the torched areas, which is said to have been an airport used by king ravana.
Ruhunu maha kataragama dewalaya

After breakfast pickup from Trincomalee port at 10:00 hrs proceed to Koneshwaram temple, Kinniya hot well spring (approx. 5 hrs for these sightseeing) back to the cruise at 17:00 hrs Ramayana katha on cruise (18:00 to 19:00 hrs). In the evening enjoy the entertainment shows.

Thirukoneswaram temple is a classical medieval Hindu temple complex located in Trincomalee the eastern capital of Sri Lanka which is directly linked to the Ramayana yatra in Sri Lanka as well. This is also known as the thirukonamalai konesar temple – the temple of the thousand pillars and daskina, then kailasam. This is important hindu religious pilgrimage center in eastern province which is famous Ramayana trail related site in Sri Lanka. According to the Ramayana story in Sri Lanka , this is a wonderful temple located on a rock promontory which is built by Rishi Agastya on the instructions of lord shiva who was impressed by the devotion of king Ravana. It is also said in the epic of Ramayana that lord Rama built the second lingam here to get rid of the brahmahasthi dosham which was caused by malediction of killing Ravana who was a brahmin. It is also believed that lord Rama has offered his prayers here too to get rid of this dosham. This temple is respected as one among the Pancha Ishwarams in Sri Lanka and Ramayana related sites in Sri Lanka.

Average temperature of these wells is 42 Celsius and the temperature is slightly different to one another. Kanniya hot spring is popular tourist destination in Trincomalee district and both local & foreign travelers.
